Spotify rolls out weekly listening stats for 60 countries
Spotify introduced “Listening stats” for its users, providing weekly insights into their listening habits, accessible through the profile image. This feature is rolling out to free and premium users across 60 countries.
The new “Listening stats” feature displays a user’s top artists and top songs weekly. Users can share these statistics on Instagram, WhatsApp, or directly with Spotify friends via the app’s messaging function. Weekly highlights will also note milestones, new discoveries, or fan moments.
An additional feature on the stats page allows users to generate a playlist. This playlist is based on existing liked songs and recommended tracks derived from listening patterns. To access these statistics, users navigate to their profile image and select the “Listening stats” tab. This enables viewing and sharing of the data.
Spotify confirmed it will continue its annual “Wrapped” recap. “Wrapped” provides year-end listening insights, allowing users to share top artists and other data.
