According to a new report from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming Realme Neo8 is scheduled to be unveiled in January, establishing a concrete release window following recent specification leaks. While the specific date remains unconfirmed, this timeframe positions the launch slightly later than its predecessor, the Realme Neo7, which had already been officially announced by this time last year.
The leak also corroborates key hardware details, most notably that the device will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. The phone is expected to feature a massive 8,000 mAh battery—a significant 1,000 mAh increase over the Neo7. Additional premium features include a metal frame, a glass back, and the inclusion of an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for improved security and unlocking speed.
