DraftKings is launching its mobile sportsbook in Missouri on December 1, months after being granted a temporary mobile sports wagering license, according to a press release from the sportsbook operator.
This was given by the Missouri Gaming Commission and will allow DraftKings to operate across the state independently without such a need for an affiliation with either a professional sports team or a land-based casino.
DraftKings’ launch in Missouri marks the 29th state in which the sportsbook operates, and players in the state will be able to take advantage of betting options, including odds boosts, in-game wagering and same-game parlays from next month onwards.
“DraftKings is built for passionate sports fans, making Missouri an exciting jurisdiction for us to enter with its rich sports culture, and several professional teams across the state,” said Greg Karamitis, the Chief Revenue Officer of DraftKings.
