 Your AI, your way

Microsoft has recently unveiled its highly anticipated Copilot GPT Builder. While the announcement didn’t come as a surprise, it underscores Microsoft’s commitment to innovation in the field.

Previously, OpenAI’s ChatGPT had taken the lead with its GPTs feature, allowing users to create custom GPTs and stay ahead of rivals. However, Microsoft’s introduction of Copilot Pro earlier this year promised to shake up the competition by offering users the ability to craft their own GPTs as part of the subscription plan.

The GPT Store is like a treasure trove of custom GPTs, offering a mix of interesting finds and rather basic prompts. But let’s be real, getting these custom GPTs to interact flawlessly is still a bit of a struggle. They tend to forget their instructions or veer off into unknown territory.

Microsoft introducing the Copilot GPT Builder, it could lead to positive changes. Competition has a way of driving quality improvements, and Microsoft’s entry into this space might just be the catalyst needed. It’s a reminder that competition breeds innovation, pushing all players to strive for excellence and ultimately benefitting the entire community.

Copilot GPT Builder is a platform developed by Microsoft that allows users to create customized GPTs using natural language.

Initially, the availability of this feature was teased as “coming soon” alongside the Copilot Pro launch. Now, after a period of anticipation, Microsoft has begun rolling out these advanced capabilities to subscribers, signaling an exciting new phase in the AI chatbots scene.

Michael Schechter, holding the position of Vice President for Search Growth and Distribution at Microsoft, recently hinted on a X that the rollout of Copilot GPT Builder has started. However, feedback on Schechter’s post indicates that the feature is being introduced gradually to users in phases, rather than being universally available from the outset.
