HP is bridging the gap between physical paper and digital intelligence by bringing generative AI directly to the office printer. The new “HP for Microsoft 365 Copilot” integration runs directly on the touchscreen control panels of HP multifunction printers, transforming them from passive output devices into active productivity hubs.

This feature allows users to scan complex documents and immediately request AI-generated summaries, automatic file naming, and organization into specific OneDrive or SharePoint folders. It can even translate text on the fly.
