Apple adds 100 new App Store Connect metrics for developers
Apple announced an update to its App Store Connect service, introducing over 100 new metrics and tools for developers.
This update aims to enhance developers’ ability to track app performance, particularly in monetization and subscription data, and provides deeper insights into user behavior and in-app purchases.
The new metrics include detailed subscription reports exportable via API, enabling offline analysis or integration into developers’ systems. Apple states that developers can analyze user behavior based on download date, source, and offer start date, allowing for cohort-specific engagement insights.
Developers will also gain access to peer group benchmarks comparing their performance in download-to-paid conversions and proceeds per download. Apple emphasized its use of aggregated cohort data and differential privacy techniques to protect user privacy and individual developer performance.
App Store Connect now supports up to seven filters simultaneously for data analysis, and a new App Store Analytics Guide is available in the Help section. The company is reportedly planning an AI-powered Siri for its June developer conference, capable of completing tasks within applications, according to Bloomberg.
